Job Summary:

We are currently seeking experienced and talented Cooks to join our team at Test Account in United Downs. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that they are presented to our customers to the highest standard. You will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain our high standards and contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and customer requests

- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standard

- Maintain a clean and organized work station

- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service

- Assist with menu planning and development

- Monitor and manage inventory levels and food waste

- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff

- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our customers

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Cook in a similar establishment

- Excellent knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques

- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Relevant culinary qualifications are a plus
