Job Description:
A dancer is a professional performer who uses body movement, gesture, and expression to entertain, tell stories, and convey artistic concepts in live or recorded productions. They work across various genres (ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, etc.), requiring rigorous rehearsals, daily physical training, endurance, and auditioning to secure roles. - Performance: Executing choreography in theater, film, TV, music videos, or on cruise ships, either as a soloist or in a group.
- Rehearsal & Practice: Spending hours daily rehearsing, learning new routines, and maintaining peak physical fitness, strength, and technique.
- Collaboration: Working closely with choreographers, directors, and other dancers to interpret and refine routines.
- Professional Maintenance: Attending auditions, costume fittings, photo shoots, and, for some, teaching dance or managing administrative tasks.
- Adaptability: Quickly learning different dance styles and adjusting to changes in choreography or staging. Betterteam +5
