Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures using established protocols.

  • Prepare and position patients for exams ensuring safety and comfort.

  • Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards.

  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in PACS.

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, including radiation and magnetic safety guidelines.

  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed (minimum 2-hour call-back, time-and-a-half pay).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.

  • Florida State Radiologic Technologist License.

  • ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of MRI experience in a hospital or acute care environment.

  • Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy including head, neck, body, musculoskeletal, spine, and neurological imaging.

  • Strong technical and critical-thinking skills with attention to patient safety.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $32 to $44/hr (based on experience).

    • 05 years: $32 to $37/hr

    • 59 years: $38 to $40/hr

    • 10+ years: $40.50 to $44/hr

  • Shift differentials: $5/hr for nights and weekends.

  • Sign-on bonus: $5,000.
