Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for open-heart and cardiovascular surgical patients.

• Circulate and assist in complex CVOR procedures, ensuring sterile field integrity and patient safety.

• Anticipate surgeon needs and manage surgical instrumentation and equipment efficiently.

• Collaborate closely with anesthesia, surgical, and perfusion teams for optimal intraoperative care.

• Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond promptly to any changes in condition.

• Document all care and intraoperative events accurately and timely.

• Participate in call rotation and provide emergency support for urgent cardiovascular procedures.

• Maintain compliance with infection control standards and hospital protocols.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an acute care environment.

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA-approved).

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• CNOR certification.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $31.84 to $46.26/hr (based on experience)
Additional Pay:

• Night Differential: +$4.50/hr

• Weekend Differential: +$1.50/hr

• National Certification Differential: +$1.50/hr

• On-Call Pay: $4/hr

• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights)
