Responsibilities
- Configure new insurance products and premium calculation formulas in the eBao system (LS & GLS) to support product launches and ensure actuarial accuracy.
- Maintain, update, and enhance product setup to comply with regulatory requirements and internal company announcements to ensure system readiness and accuracy.
- Analyze product features to design comprehensive test cases, including both standard and exceptional scenarios, covering New Business, Policy Entitlements & Privilege Rules, Commission, and Policy Printing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support actuarial operations:
- Work with the Marketing team to validate sales platform calculations, including premiums, benefits, and underwriting conditions.
- Coordinate with Operations to verify actuarial formulas and calculation logic.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system issues and implement system enhancements.
- Develop and apply VBA programs to automate actuarial calculations such as surrender value calculation, policy conversion, and test case generation to improve testing speed and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of actuarial principles and life insurance product structures.
- Experience in Product Setup, Policy Administration Systems, or eBao is an advantage.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions.
- Experience with VBA/Macro development or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or UAT/Test Design tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and highly responsible.
- Able to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Fast learner with a positive attitude and teamwork mindset.
