About the job Product Development Manger_INSURE

  1. Accept and review all types of products that are sold through all channels (Mass Product or Product on shelf).
  2. Manage product requirement requests from Sales and/or UW, summarize needs, and present development directions for products that meet target group demands.
  3. Conduct market competition analysis (Marketing Research) to use the data to create diverse value propositions, develop product concepts, and provide accurate pricing and risk information for various product types.
  4. Perform product analysis to ensure alignment with target customer groups, ensuring consistency with underwriting perspectives and corporate strategies.
  5. Coordinate with various departments such as RM, UW, Actuarial, Claim, IT, F&A, to ensure smooth product development processes, including coordinating approvals with the OIC.
  6. Design marketing communications to support products, including advertising and public relations materials for agents, customers, and all stakeholders.
  7. Coordinate with internal units such as Corp.Com, Compliance to ensure compliance with company regulations.
  8. Monitor product performance (New Product Monitor) to evaluate sales performance and collaborate with PAC in organizing product launch activities.
  9. Present and develop ideas for improving existing products or creating new products (either new or upgraded) to support sales channels.
  10. Prepare product materials and reports for both internal and external use, including performance evaluation reports, summary reports, and other related documents.
  11. Collect product development data and conduct product benchmarking.
  12. Participate in product development and management processes and other tasks as assigned for effective product development and management.

  • Qualification

    1. Bachelors or Masters degree in any related field or equivalent.

    2. Knowledge and understanding of a variety of insurance products across multiple channels.

    3. Proficient in PowerPoint & Excel (MS Office).

    4. Creative thinking skills.

    5. Ability to coordinate with various departments with diverse perspectives, such as Marcom, Legal, and Compliance.

    6. Able to analyze, compare strengths and weaknesses of products, and present ideas effectively.
