About the job Actuarial Pricing : SE Life ( SM-AVP)

  1. Provide support on product pricing and review features with consideration to risk and regulatory constraints
  2. Ensure accuracy of appropriateness of assumptions used for pricing and profit testing.
  3. Prepare internal product approval documents and provide quality analysis for decision-making.
  4. Prepare and submit premium certificate to OIC for product approval.
  5. Prepare OIC filing documents and provide support on regulator queries.
  6. Review sales materials and policy contract to ensure alignment with product design and approval.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulations and corporate policy in regard to product pricing, profit conditions, and competitiveness.
  8. Manage timeline and quality of the assigned pricing project, and highlight any issue to the management in a timely manner.
  9. Prepare and submit premium certificate to OIC for product approval.
  10. Liaise with OIC on new product features, technical pricing and ensure smooth product approval.
  11. Monitor product performance in terms of growth, profitability, and sale volume achievement.
  12. Perform monthly VONB analysis as part of post-launch financial analysis
  13. Ensure product meets company profitability and marketable when benchmarking with other insurers.
  14. Coordinate and negotiate with reinsurers for new product pricing
  15. Coordinate with stakeholders such as IT, Product development Operations, Distribution, etc. in product implementation
  16. Others as assigned: Any other matters
