Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic plans for key corporate accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers in client organizations.
- Identify growth opportunities, cross-selling, and up-selling of products to expand existing client relationships.
- Revenue Growth & Profitability:
- Drive revenue generation by managing large corporate accounts and ensuring profitability through tailored non-life insurance solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the corporate account portfolio, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
- Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Client Retention & Satisfaction:
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing client needs, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
- Manage renewals, claims management, and service delivery to enhance long-term partnerships.
- Act as the main point of escalation for any complex client issues or concerns.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of account managers and sales professionals.
- Establish clear performance goals and provide coaching and feedback to ensure team success.
- Foster a collaborative culture that encourages cross-functional cooperation within the organization.
- Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities or threats in the market.
- Provide strategic insights to the executive team based on market research and client feedback.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to build the brand and network with potential clients.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
- Work closely with product development, underwriting, and claims teams to customize solutions for corporate clients.
- Ensure smooth coordination with other departments to streamline processes, such as policy issuance, claims handling, and customer support.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on account performance, pipeline development, and key metrics.
- Use data and analytics to refine strategies, improve client outcomes, and optimize business performance.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in corporate account management or sales in the non-life insurance industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large corporate accounts and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of non-life insurance products and solutions.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
