Project Manager (Core Banking Transformation)

As a Project Manager – Core Banking Transformation, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a large scale Core Banking Transformation program, replacing legacy banking systems with modern core banking platforms.  You will oversee program planning, governance, multi-vendor delivery, stakeholder management, and execution across multiple banking domains, ensuring successful implementation from planning through go-live. 

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Program Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Core Banking Transformation program.
• Own program plans, delivery roadmap, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Drive delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring milestones, quality, and implementation objectives are achieved.
• Manage scope, change control, and implementation planning throughout the project lifecycle.

Multi-Vendor & Cross Functional Delivery

• Lead geographically distributed teams across the Philippines, India, and Singapore.
• Coordinate delivery across Domain Leads, PMO, Solution Architects, Security Architects, Business Analysts, SMEs, and vendors.
• Ensure alignment across multiple technology partners and client teams to deliver against a single program plan.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Establish program governance, reporting, and executive communication frameworks.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and regulatory considerations.
• Serve as the primary delivery contact for executive stakeholders, steering committees, and business leaders.
• Present program progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Execution & Delivery Oversight

• Drive delivery across the complete implementation lifecycle—from planning, design, fit-gap analysis, implementation, testing, and go-live.
• Monitor project financials, resource utilization, schedules, and delivery performance.
• Ensure successful execution while maintaining delivery quality and program governance.

Experience

• You have 15+ years of experience in technology project or program management.
• You have proven experience leading large‑scale end-to-end core banking implementation or large-scale transformation programs.
• You have experience managing enterprise-wide, multi-vendor, and geographically distributed delivery teams.
• You have strong knowledge of Core Banking implementation or modernization projects.
• You have worked with Banking or Financial Services environments.

Technical Expertise

• You have strong knowledge of Core Banking implementation or modernization projects.
• You have exposure to banking domains such as Lending, CASA, Trade Finance, and Payments.
• You are experienced in program governance, risk management, project financials, resource planning, and delivery management. 
• You have experience with Core Banking platforms such as Oracle Flexcube, ACBS, Finastra GPP, Trade360, Murex or similar platforms. 
• You hold PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications (preferred).
