About the job Account Manager - Conglomerates and Utilities

As an Account Manager for Conglomerates and Utilities, you will own and grow enterprise client accounts by driving revenue expansion, strengthening client relationships, and delivering long-term commercial value across technology solutions for conglomerate and utility clients. You will play a key role in scaling accounts through structured planning, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive client engagement within complex, multi-business and infrastructure-led environments.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Revenue Growth & Account Expansion

  • Own the commercial performance of assigned conglomerate and utilities accounts and deliver against revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute structured account growth plans aligned with client needs and business objectives.
  • Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Managed Services, Cloud and Infrastructure, Data and Analytics, and IT Staff Augmentation.
  • Increase wallet share within existing conglomerate and utilities clients through strategic engagement and solution positioning.
  • Build a predictable revenue pipeline and maintain accurate forecasts to support business planning.

Strategic Client Relationships

  • Build strong, multi-level relationships across IT, procurement, business, and key stakeholder groups within client organisations.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews to align on performance, opportunities, and future direction.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively position relevant solutions for conglomerate and utilities environments.
  • Establish the company as a trusted strategic partner through consistent value delivery.
  • Act as the commercial escalation point when required to ensure client satisfaction and continuity.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Delivery Managers to ensure service excellence and successful execution.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition to anticipate and fulfil hiring demands.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and solution teams to develop compelling proposals.
  • Align commercial strategies with operational execution to ensure delivery feasibility and success.

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Support contract negotiations and renewals to secure long-term engagements.
  • Protect margins while maintaining competitive positioning in the market.
  • Lead discussions on scope expansion to maximise account value.
  • Ensure financial performance aligns with revenue targets and commercial objectives.

Experience

  • You have 5 to 10+ years of experience in Account Management within IT Services, Consulting, or Managed Services.
  • You have a proven track record of managing enterprise accounts and delivering revenue growth.
  • You bring exposure to Cloud, Infrastructure, Data, Applications, or IT Staffing solutions.
  • You have experience working with conglomerates, utilities companies, or large enterprise clients in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
