Test Manager - Life Insurance Domain

As a Test Manager, you will lead end‑to‑end testing activities for a large‑scale Life Insurance programme, ensuring quality across functional, integration, regression, UAT, and automation testing. You will define and drive testing strategy, guide QA teams, and collaborate with stakeholders across complex enterprise environments to support successful delivery outcomes.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Testing Strategy & Leadership

• Design and implement the overall test strategy, test plans, QA frameworks, and risk‑based testing approach.
• Lead the complete testing lifecycle across functional, integration, regression, UAT, and automation testing.
• Drive effective test planning, execution, reporting, defect management, and closure activities.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring critical issues are prioritised and resolved.
• Establish QA metrics, KPIs, test coverage, and quality reporting for visibility into performance.

Team Management & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and develop Test Leads, QA Engineers, and Automation Engineers.
• Manage testing teams of 10–30 resources, ensuring efficient delivery and utilisation.
• Partner with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and project teams to align testing activities with programme goals.
• Drive testing initiatives across distributed and global delivery teams.
• Ensure testing standards, processes, and documentation are consistently applied.

Delivery & Readiness

• Support release readiness and production validation activities.
• Facilitate successful deployments by ensuring quality standards are met throughout delivery.

We'd Love to Hear From You If...

Experience

• You have 10+ years of experience in software QA and testing.
• You have 4+ years of experience in a Test Lead, Test Manager, or QA Manager role.
• You have managed the complete testing lifecycle for large‑scale enterprise projects.
• You have strong experience within the Life Insurance domain.
• You have managed QA, testing, and automation teams while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• You have worked with global or distributed project teams.

Technical Expertise

• You have strong knowledge of both manual and automation testing.
• You have experience with Jira or similar test/defect management tools.
• You have hands‑on experience with Selenium and Playwright; Cypress is an advantage.
• You know TestNG, JUnit, and REST Assured frameworks.
• You have experience with Jenkins, Git, and Confluence.
• You are proficient in Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT, API, and Backend Testing.
• You are skilled in SQL and data validation.
• You have exposure to AS400/Mainframe application testing.
• You may have performance testing experience (advantage).
