Senior Oracle Database Administrator

As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, you will provide production‑level technical validation and advisory support for a legacy Oracle 10g environment supporting AISIS. You will take direct operational ownership of Oracle Forms and Reports runtime environments, applying diagnostic, stabilisation, backup, recovery, and change management expertise within constrained licensing and tooling environments.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Oracle 10g Production DBA Experience

• Demonstrate hands‑on Oracle 10g production DBA expertise in live environments.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues such as blocking, latch contention, slow queries, and resource saturation.
• Utilise diagnostic views, logs, and tools to troubleshoot and implement corrective resolutions.
• Provide production support for Oracle Forms, addressing runtime errors, performance delays, and compilation issues.
• Execute diagnostic procedures and document resolution steps applied in production.

Oracle Forms & Reports (Legacy Runtime Support)

• Deliver runtime support for Oracle Forms and Reports in legacy environments.
• Apply diagnostic procedures to stabilise performance and resolve runtime issues.

Oracle Enterprise Production Operations

• Manage Oracle 10g in live production environments with full operational ownership.
• Perform incident response, performance stabilisation, backup and recovery (e.g., RMAN), patch application, change management, and capacity monitoring.
• Ensure uptime management and compliance with licensing restrictions by applying practical troubleshooting methodologies without reliance on advanced add‑on tools.

Operating in Constrained Environments

• Support Oracle environments where diagnostic/tuning packs are unavailable due to licensing constraints.
• Apply effective methodologies to maintain performance and stability within restricted environments.

Resource Commitment & Governance

• Confirm resource assignment to AISIS engagement if awarded.
• Ensure governance and accountability for Oracle DBA and Forms‑related work.
