PMO & Financial Controller Manager

Role Overview

This role will be acts as the central control point between Business Units and Technology teams, ensuring that technology initiatives are governed, financially controlled, and delivered in line with business priorities. This role oversees portfolio governance, financial performance, and execution discipline to ensure projects deliver measurable business value within approved timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Own portfolio governance for the assigned segment, ensuring consistent use of approved project standards, tools, and methodologies
• Manage and maintain the Wave workspace with accurate and up-to-date project and financial data
• Act as the primary interface between Business and Technology teams to align priorities, capacity, and delivery timelines
• Prepare and consolidate portfolio status, financial dashboards, and action trackers for Steering Committees
• Support and coordinate Steering Committee meetings, including pre-briefings, presentations, decision tracking, and follow-up on actions
• Track and control Capex and Opex budgets, including actuals, accruals, and forecasts
• Ensure accurate classification and tracking of IT-related costs such as software, hardware, and licensing
• Deliver monthly financial and portfolio reports, highlighting risks, variances, and potential budget overruns

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid experience in project or program management within technology-driven environments (Agile and/or Waterfall)
• Strong background in financial control, budgeting, and project cost management (Capex / Opex)
• Ability to analyze complex data and produce clear, executive-level dashboards and presentations
• Understanding of retail operations and enterprise technology platforms such as E-commerce, POS, and Supply Chain systems (advantage)
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Thai, with experience working across business and technical stakeholders
