NOTE: This is an Associate level role for someone with 4-7 years of experience at $35-45/hr pay rate, depending on benefits.
Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Laboratory Instrument Validation Specialist. The Laboratory Instrument Validation Specialist will be responsible for validating laboratory equipment and ensuring sustaining quality and compliance in laboratory settings.
You will be part of a team that performs the necessary remediation tasks to ensure that the laboratory instruments and their processes are compliant by:
- Researching existing instrument/departmental documentation with client experts to document requirements.
- Developing validation deliverables to support the compliance program.
- Developing testable requirements for GLP, GMP, and GCP laboratory equipment, automation systems, and computerized systems.
- Resolving open compliance issues that may require procedural controls.
- Coordinating and supporting review processes with the Project Lead and the QA Specialist.
Requirements
- 4-7 Years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Life Science industry.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, specifically 21 CFR Part 58 and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Knowledge of Quality Control, GLP, and GCP testing laboratory equipment and processes.
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Ability to communicate effectively with all corporate levels.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Experience working with project teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects in different functional areas.
