• Will be supporting a client in Washington, DC.  Seeking a candidate on the East Coast who can travel to client site once a month.

Description

Seeking a Technical SME (can be a DBA, Technical Architect, Infrastructure Lead, or Technical Manager) who has experience with migrating EBS customers to Oracle Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Technical oversight for Financial Systems infrastructure (e.g.applications, database, network) IT Operation and Security Operations
• Review and provide feedback on system integrator Infrastructure Security and network deliverables
• Provide recommendation for new enhancements, designs and improve existing tech stack, policies and procedures
• Review technical upgrade/changes proposal and provide independent assessment
• Assess existing processes and procedures and recommend changes to improve efficiencies, traceability and transparency of IT Ops for management reporting
• Assess Cloud technologies understanding as well
• Brings technical expertise to support maturation of Oracle cloud solutions
• Support DSOM strategic initiatives by providing feedback, recommendation and technical feasibility in area such as:
• Storage Optimization
• Governance of processes for scaling up and down
• Architecture design
• Follow up on action items and driving initiatives on the ground on behalf of the federal lead

Requirements

• 15 plus years of experience working on EBS implementation & O&M project in a technical capacity as a DBA, Tech Architect, Infra Lead, or Tech Manager (will accept less years of experience with a degree)
• At-least lead one implementation or O&M project using cloud technologies e.g. OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
• Experience with migrating EBS customers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and optimizing their solution
• Experience and knowledge of security operation
• Experience and knowledge in working hands as required on in EBS Apps, & Databases
• Strong technical and communication skills to effectively support as adviser and consultant to the federal lead
• Ability to work closely with management and executive and effectively communicate technical aspects of the project
• Ability to lead technical strategic initiatives

Desired

• BS in CS, Computer engineering or equivalent experience
• Desired Certification- Oracle, Cloud Technologies
