Our client, based out of Los Alamos, NM, is seeking a Mid Software Engineer (ASP.NET) for a remote, direct hire opportunity. 

Due to government client requirements, this position requires a US Citizen who can obtain a clearance.

Candidate must be able to work Mountain Time. MT


Our client is currently seeking Senior Software Engineer within the Software and Applications Engineering (SAE) Division. The candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience designing, developing, modifying, testing, and debugging mobile and web, with a particular focus on mobile application development. The successful candidate should also have a strong desire to learn new technologies, to become an expert in their field, and the willingness and confidence to develop safety-class, mission-critical software.


  • Analyzes requirements and works collaboratively to design new functionality.
  • Supporting and fixing existing functionality.
    Conducts unit and integration system tests; monitors test results; and takes required corrective action.
  • We are looking for someone with knowledge and experience designing, developing, modifying, testing, and debugging web, mobile, and Windows applications using .NET and modern frameworks like the MERN tech stack.


  • ASP.NET, C#, Object Oriented Programming.
  • Design and development of web applications, APIs, RESTful web services.
  • Relational database design (SQL Server), JSON, HTML CSS, and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React/Redux).
  • Applying software design patterns (such as MVC) and using software development tools / rich-client platform development frameworks.
  • Continuous Delivery Tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps / Bamboo GIT) and methodologies.
  • Preference for candidates who also have experience with:
    Experience with Azure cloud platform.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD/testing Automation.
  • Understanding of and experience with Agile delivery and Scrum facilitation.
  • Experience in the development of complex software systems using industry best practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying layered architecture patterns.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices (cross-site scripting and SQL injection).
  • This position requires a relevant bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
