The Catalyst Group is hiring a Mid-Level Product Manager for its client, IBL Group.

About the role:
As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving the product roadmap, gathering and prioritising requirements, and ensuring successful execution from concept to launch. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver products that meet market needs and align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and manage the product roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals
  • Ensure alignment with overall company strategy
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define product features, prioritise them based on business impact, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Customer Research & Insights: Gather customer feedback through interviews, surveys, and market analysis to deeply understand user needs and pain points. Use these insights to inform product development.
  • Feature Prioritisation: Manage the product backlog, prioritise features, and make trade-off decisions to maximise business value and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Own the product lifecycle from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery of product features and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • KPIs & Success Metrics: Define and track product success metrics, including user engagement, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for product-related updates, providing regular progress reports and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
  • Product Launches: Coordinate and execute successful product launches, working with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure all aspects of the product go-to-market strategy are aligned.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a fast-paced tech or SaaS environment.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate closely with engineering teams. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data to drive decisions and measure product performance. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and features to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset, capable of making sound decisions under uncertainty.
  • Collaboration: A team player with experience working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a startup or fast-growth environment
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices and design thinking methodologies
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, such as customer success or support
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus
