Job Title: Head of Teaching and Training

Location: Karachi
Reports to: Dean of Teaching and Learning

Position Overview:
The Head of Training will be responsible for ensuring the practical and technical training programs at THF meet the highest industry standards. This role will focus on faculty training, curriculum execution, and ensuring the quality of technical instruction across all campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Execution:

• Ensure that the curriculum designed by the Dean and faculty is implemented effectively across all THF campuses

• Regularly update training materials and teaching methodologies to keep pace with industry advancements

Faculty Oversight:

• Oversee the daily performance of faculty members, ensuring that they deliver high-quality instruction

• Provide regular feedback and mentoring to faculty to improve teaching effectiveness

Training Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular campus visits to ensure training quality and alignment with THF's standards

• Ensure training aligns with international standards, such as those of City & Guilds and Pearson, and incorporates practical, real-world experiences

Industry Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Dean to develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, ensuring that the training programs are aligned with current market needs

• Assist in creating internship and apprenticeship opportunities for students

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Education, Engineering, or a related technical field

• 5-10 years of experience in technical training or curriculum development, preferably in the TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) space

• Proven experience in curriculum design and faculty development

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Familiarity with faculty development, assessment, and curriculum delivery
