Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven New Business Manager to lead our growth strategy by identifying, developing, and securing new commercial cleaning contracts across London and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a results-oriented individual with strong industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales within the cleaning sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, tenders, and presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM systems
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar New Business / Business Development role within the commercial cleaning industry
- Proven track record of winning new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of cleaning contracts, pricing models, and service delivery
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Fully eligible to work in the UK without VISA sponsorship is essential.

- Existing network of contacts within facilities management or commercial property sectors
- Experience responding to tenders and large-scale contract bids
- Knowledge of London commercial market
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly and quarterly revenue targets
