Position Summary

India’s annual CSR pool of over 32,000 crore presents a powerful opportunity to fund systemic, government-aligned solutions. TCF aims to help corporate India go beyond programmatic CSR and invest in long-term, scalable change.

The Associate Director CSR Partnerships will serve as the central SPOC (single point of contact) for CSR partnerships at TCF. They will work closely with the Director, Strategic Partnerships (India) and Director, Global Partnerships, supporting both donor engagement and account management across TCF and its portfolio organisations (e.g., Foundational Learning Collaborative, Economic Growth Collaborative, CEGIS, Udaiti, etc.).

This role combines strong operational rigour with external-facing relationship skills, helping build and manage a high-quality CSR pipeline, coordinate donor engagement, and ensure strong relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. CSR Pipeline and Outreach

  • Map and qualify CSR prospects across sectors aligned to TCF’s work (education, skilling, economic growth, governance).
  • Manage outreach, coordination, and follow-ups with CSR heads, foundations, and corporate affairs teams.
  • Support senior leadership in preparing for and following up on donor meetings.
  • Maintain a disciplined CRM pipeline with regular updates and clear next actions.

2. Donor Engagement and Account Management

  • Serve as the operational lead for CSR relationships ensuring timely documentation, proposals, reports, and renewals.
  • Draft and refine donor-facing materials (briefs, decks, thank-you notes, progress updates).
  • Coordinate with portfolio organisations to gather impact data and insights for donor communication.
  • Support planning and delivery of donor stewardship events, roundtables, and field visits.

3. Proposal Development and Coordination

  • Work with programme and communications teams to craft persuasive proposals and concept notes.
  • Support TCF collaboratives (especially FLC and EGC) in shaping CSR-ready propositions.
  • Manage internal coordination to ensure proposal quality and consistency of message.

4. Systems and Reporting

  • Strengthen CRM use and ensure data hygiene for all CSR accounts.
  • Track partnership metrics, renewal timelines, and funding projections.
  • Support development of dashboards, trackers, and pipeline reports for leadership.

5. External Representation

  • Attend CSR meetings and convenings to represent TCF and build networks.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in CSR partnerships, fundraising, client relationship management, or corporate affairs.
  • Strong understanding of India’s CSR ecosystem and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience engaging with CSR heads, corporate foundations, or senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to proposal writing, account management, or fundraising processes preferred.
  • Prior experience in philanthropy, consulting, or development sector organisations is an advantage.

Location: Full-time position based out of Delhi, India & involves domestic travel
