Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented HR Manager to support HR initiatives and operations across SFI Impact Foundation and its three initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building a strong organizational culture, streamlining HR processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our multi-sectoral teams.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Process Management
  • Implement and manage HR processes that promote a high-performance, values-driven culture across portfolio organizations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end performance management cycle, ensuring timely goal-setting, feedback, and appraisal closure.
  • Maintain accurate employee data, HR records, and reports; ensure compliance with all statutory and internal requirements.
  • Standardize and streamline HR operations including onboarding, exits, payroll coordination, and policy implementation for consistency across organizations.
  • Support leadership in policy interpretation and employee queries to ensure fairness and alignment with organizational values.
2. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
  • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives, retreats, and cultural events that build a strong sense of community and belonging.
  • Partner with teams to develop and run learning and development programs aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Drive internal communication and recognition programs to enhance morale and retention.
  • Support efforts to embed organizational values and foster collaboration across teams and partner organizations.
3. Talent Management & People Development
  • Manage the full talent management lifecycle from recruitment coordination and onboarding to career development and retention.
  • Engage and maintain relationships with prospective candidates to ensure strong pipelines for open and future roles.
  • Ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience; conduct periodic check-ins and resolve employee concerns effectively.
  • Track key people metrics and provide timely reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Facilitate cross-learning and capability-building opportunities across teams to strengthen institutional capacity.

Desired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

  • Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications and skills that are required for this role:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field from a reputed institution.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in HR operations, compliance, and people processes with a strong track record of execution.
  • Strong relationship management and networking skills with the ability to engage, inspire, and connect with high-caliber talent.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute with precision, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within defined timelines.
  • Brings a results- and outcomes-oriented approach, ensuring initiatives translate into measurable impact.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, consensus-driven environment.
