About TrustBridge Rule of Law Foundation

TrustBridge Rule of Law Foundation is a non-profit research think tank focused on

addressing institutional and policy challenges in India. Our work spans economics,

governance, and regulatory frameworks, with a strong emphasis on strengthening financial

and legal systems through rigorous, evidence-based research.

Role Overview

TrustBridge is seeking a Policy Communications and Outreach Associate to support the

organisations external communications, public engagement, and visibility across policy and

regulatory ecosystems. The role is communications-focused and aims to strengthen how

TrustBridge presents its work externally in a clear, structured, and credible manner.

The Associate will work closely with research teams, leadership, and external stakeholders

to ensure that TrustBridges research and institutional positions are communicated

accurately and consistently through written outputs, events, outreach efforts, and digital

platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal research teams (economists and legal researchers) to support the clear and accurate external presentation of approved research outputs, particularly in areas such as energy, financial markets, and regulation.
  • Develop and edit external-facing communication material, including policy briefs, explainers, stakeholder decks, and website or donor-facing content, while preserving research integrity and nuance.
  • Support policy outreach and public affairs by coordinating communication material for engagement with regulators, policymakers, industry bodies, think tanks, and allied institutions.
  • Assist with planning and supporting external engagements and events such as roundtables, workshops, consultations, and conferences, including preparation of background notes and post-event outputs.
  • Support institutional positioning by tracking relevant policy developments and assisting leadership with external communication and ecosystem engagement.
  • Manage TrustBridges social media presence, ensuring content is research-backed, measured in tone, and aligned with ongoing work rather than promotional activity.
  • Maintain communications and brand hygiene in line with TrustBridges institutional voice and public-interest mandate.

Internal Working Style

This role requires close coordination with research teams and sensitivity to academic and

legal rigour. The Associate will work on approved materials, follow internal review processes,

and ensure that all external communication accurately reflects TrustBridges research and

institutional positions.

Who Should Apply

This role is suited for candidates with 2–4 years of experience in communications, public

affairs, policy organisations, consulting, or media-adjacent roles. Familiarity with energy

policy, financial markets, regulation, or economic policy is important. Strong writing skills,

comfort with technical material, and the ability to work within institutional processes are

essential. Experience with policy-facing communications, events, or social media in a

research or governance context will be valued.

This is not a marketing or journalism role. It is a communications and policy outreach role

anchored in research integrity, discretion, and clarity.
