Position Overview

Our client contracts Owner Operator Class A CDL drivers who own their own semi/sleeper cab. Our client provides the trailer.

Pay: Semi drivers average $5,000-$6,500 gross per week (some hard runners earn more), at 90% of the load - see standard deductions on the pay sheet. Paid weekly.

Coverage: Nationwide. No orientation or travel required to finalize hiring - everything is done remotely.

What's provided: Fuel card. Trailer rental.

Requirements

  • Own semi/sleeper cab, DOT-ready equipment
  • Willing to stay out at least 2 weeks (some areas may accommodate home weekly)
  • Valid CDL-A or standard driver's license
  • Minimum 2 years of OTR experience
  • Acceptable MVR - no major violations in the past 3-5 years
  • No recent DUI or reckless driving
  • Must pass a DOT drug test (urine only)
  • Clean PSP preferred
  • Able to pass a background check

Onboarding Process

  1. Application review
  2. MVR, PSP, and background check
  3. Document collection and compliance verification (Medical Card, Registration, DOT, Physical Damage Insurance, etc.)
  4. Digital application and lease-signing process
  5. DOT drug test - urine only
  6. Orientation, including safety briefing and paperwork
  7. Truck assignment
