CDL A Dedicated Truck Driver - Ridgefield, WA - $1,989/Wk
Location: Ridgefield, Washington
Average Earnings: $1,989 per week — approximately $103,475 annualized
Position Overview
Our client is hiring CDL-A drivers for a high-paying dedicated discount-retail account running regional routes out of Ridgefield, Washington. Freight on this fleet is dry, driver unload using rollers, running Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Northern California.
Home time is weekly, which makes this a strong fit for drivers who want a predictable routine and a consistent paycheck rather than long, open-ended stretches on the road. Average earnings on this account run $1,989 per week, approximately $103,475 annualized.
Key Responsibilities
You will operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and legally at all times, completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitoring your hours of service, and keeping your logs accurate and current in accordance with federal regulations and company policy.
You will transport freight on schedule across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Northern California, following assigned routes, planning fuel and rest stops sensibly, and communicating proactively with your fleet manager when weather, traffic, or a customer delay puts a delivery window at risk.
Drivers handle two to four loads per week with three to four stops per load, unloading trailers using rollers.
This account suits drivers who like combining driving with hands-on work and want weekly home time without giving up earnings.
Freight handling is part of this role rather than an occasional extra. You will work the freight as described above, so a reasonable level of physical fitness and a willingness to stay active through the shift are genuine requirements, not preferences.
You will represent our client professionally at every customer location, maintain the condition and cleanliness of your assigned equipment, and report mechanical issues promptly so they are addressed before they become a breakdown.
Requirements
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required, along with a minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience. You must meet all Department of Transportation qualification requirements and hold a current DOT medical certification.
An acceptable motor vehicle record and safety history are required. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with all federal testing requirements throughout your employment.
The role requires the physical capability to perform the freight handling described above, including repeated lifting, climbing in and out of the trailer, and sustained activity across a full shift. Hiring around Portland and Eugene, OR and Seattle, WA. Drivers living more than 50 miles from Ridgefield need a safe, authorized place to park the truck.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior dedicated account experience is preferred, particularly on fleets with consistent, repeating routes where familiarity with the lane and the customer builds real efficiency.
A clean safety record, consistent on-time performance, and a track record of steady tenure with previous carriers all strengthen an application. Drivers who communicate well with dispatch, handle customer contact professionally, and take care of their equipment tend to do well on dedicated accounts like this one.
Compensation and Benefits
Average earnings on this account are $1,989 per week, approximately $103,475 annualized. Pay is made up of: Hourly compensation: $29.00–$30.50 for drivers with 0–48 months experience; $31.00 at 49+ months; Safe & On-Time Bonus.
Home time: Home Weekly. 34-hour reset weekly, with days off varying. Both day and night shifts run on this lane. Time off may be tighter through the holiday season and more generous at other points depending on freight demand.
Equipment: automatic transmission trucks pulling 53' trailers. There are currently 8 openings on this fleet.
If the fleet's start point is in a different state from where you live, the company covers your travel out to orientation - bus or flight - and pays for your lodging while you are there.
We place drivers directly with the fleets we represent, and we stay with you through the process — application, orientation scheduling, and the first weeks on the account. If this fleet is not the right fit, we recruit for a range of dedicated, regional, local and team accounts nationwide and will point you toward one that matches your home time and earnings goals.
We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must meet all Department of Transportation qualification requirements, including a current DOT medical certification.
