RN Med Surg - MA - Partial Reloc available

As an RN in the Medical Surgical Unit, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical, step down, or ICU experience including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
• Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Update and manage patient records
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCs nursing organization
• Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
• Schedule: 36 hours or 24 hours - Nights or Day/Night w/ Rotating Weekends/Holidays

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• 2+ years of RN experience preferred
• Certification in basic life support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required in certain units
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
• Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
• Basic computer proficiency
• Fluency in another language a plus
