Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay: $70,000 - $105,000 (USD)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care in a high-volume acute care setting. This role involves collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, delivering patient care through the nursing process, and supporting patients and families during labor and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide direct patient care including assessments, exams, treatments, and education.

* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

* Document patient histories, interventions, and treatment plans accurately.

* Support and guide patients and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum processes.

* Participate in unit-based quality and process improvement initiatives.

* Adhere to nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.

* Serve as a mentor and preceptor to less experienced nurses when applicable.

Must Haves / Requirements Summary:

* Active RN license in Texas OR compact state license, free of stipulations/disciplinary actions.

* BSN required (ADN and new grads will not be considered).

* 3-5 years of acute care Labor & Delivery experience (skilled nursing or non-acute backgrounds not eligible).

* Full-time night shift availability only (no day shift, transfers, or part-time roles available).

* Updated resume with accurate job history and unit details.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience across extended womens services.

* Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.

* Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-acuity environment.

Position Details:

* Level IV Maternal Designated Facility.

* 12 labor beds, 19 antepartum beds, 4 swing beds.

* Approximately 400-450 deliveries per month.
