Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on OTR routes across the continental United States
- Complete accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document all findings
- Maintain HOS compliance using an electronic logging device
- Deliver freight safely and on time to destinations across multiple states
- Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or equipment issues
- Complete all required paperwork including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and fuel logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Maintain a professional demeanor at shipper and receiver locations
- Report any accidents, incidents, or concerns to safety and management immediately
- Take care of assigned equipment and report mechanical issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Recent CDL-A graduates welcome — new driver friendly program
- Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Automatic transmission restriction accepted
- Clean or explainable driving history
- Ability to be away from home for extended periods with home time every two weeks
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a related field is preferred
