This position offers relocation support and is ideal for a cybersecurity professional with strong experience in vulnerability management, threat response, and security toolsets in a mission-critical environment.

Role Summary:
The Cyber Security Engineer III is responsible for leading incident response, managing vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance with internal and external security requirements. This position plays a key role in the daily operation and advancement of enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy and toolsets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor systems for threats, anomalies, and breaches across the organization
  • Lead and manage vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts
  • Oversee and maintain key security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, firewalls, asset discovery, and email protection platforms
  • Test and verify the effectiveness of security controls, reporting findings in an organized manner
  • Collaborate with auditors and regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks
  • Contribute to security architecture recommendations for network and system design
  • Stay current on evolving cybersecurity threats and best practices
  • Participate in on-call security support rotation
  • Uphold organizational safety and security standards across all responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • Hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security and vulnerability management
  • Strong understanding of tools and techniques used in penetration testing and threat mitigation
  • Familiarity with security technologies including SIEM, proxies, firewalls, antivirus, and IdPs
  • Ability to assess and prioritize remediation of system vulnerabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid drivers license required
