Our client is an electronic communications manufacturer and supplier based in Edenvale and they are looking for a highly motivated and driven New Business Sales Executive to join their growing team. The ideal candidate must have a strong hunter mentality, be confident in generating new business opportunities, and have experience within the Electronics Manufacturing, Security, ICT, Telecoms, or IT industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

  • This is a client-facing, target-driven role focused primarily on generating new business.
  • The successful candidate must be comfortable with cold calling, face-to-face meetings, networking, and building long-term client relationships.
  • The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and consistently deliver results.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct cold calling and outbound prospecting.
  • Arrange and attend face-to-face client meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Identify opportunities within existing and new markets.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals for clients.
  • Manage and maintain sales pipeline activity.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Work closely with management and technical teams to provide suitable client solutions.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric
  • Related qualification will be and added advantage

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience in New Business Sales.
  • Experience within Electronics Manufacturing, Security Industry, ICT, Telecoms, Networking, or IT Sales.
  • Strong ability to generate and close new business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and presentable appearance.
  • Comfortable meeting clients face-to-face daily.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven personality.
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Good understanding of solution-based selling.
