COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a leading supplier of Civil and Engineering Products with a nationwide network of 38 branches. They are looking for an Internal Sales Administrator to join their Pretoria team as soon as possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering of incoming calls and converting enquiries into sales
- Handling of customer complaints & queries
- Ensuring that there is a set system to capture sales enquiries/orders and monitor the information
- Quoting by phone and Email
- Receiving and processing sales orders on Syspro
- Sourcing of stock (standard and non-standard) from approved suppliers
- Checking back orders on a daily basis and release invoices for delivery
- Expediting of sales orders (deliveries)
- General office duties
- Updating of customer discount structures on Syspro
- Liaise with Warehouse Manager regarding deliveries
- Leasing with external sales staff
- Accompany external sales staff on customer visits as and when required
- Providing leads to external sales staff
- All quotes to be followed up
- Orders to be liaised with the responsible external sales representative
- Ensure to keep credits at a minimum and follow the Credit Procedure
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12
- Relevant tertiary qualification (added advantage)
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- At least have 3 - 5 years' experience (preferably in Sales) in the Fluid Control industry (Pumps / Irrigation / Fittings / Valves / Pipes / Flanges) Industry
- Must have the relevant product knowledge for the specific industry as mentioned above
- Syspro experience will be an advantage
- Must be energetic, outgoing and a team player
- Must be sales-driven
