COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries. They are looking for a Client Liaison Officer to join their Johannesburg team.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel
• Conducting business reviews to ensure client is satisfied with their products and services
• Alerting the sales team to opportunities for further sales within key clients
• Letting customers know about other products the company offers
• Attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts
• Achieving client relationships targets and KPIs set by the Commercial Director
• Working closely with Sales Representatives
• Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients
• Carrying out client satisfaction and surveys and reviews
• Updating management and ensuring sales representatives are aware of changes within clients
• Passing Leads to the sales team and following up on progress

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Marketing / Food related qualification

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 2 - 3 Years marketing experience within an FMCG environment
• Food / catering industry experience will be an advantage
• Hotel/restaurant experience
• Strong marketing skills
• Computer literate
• Valid drivers license + own transport (non-negotiable)
