COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client is one of the leading wholesale suppliers of promotional gifts and clothing and they are looking for Sales Manager to join their fast-paced sales department.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieving growth by successfully managing the sales team, implementing strategic plans and improving existing systems (CRM)
  • Market knowledge, Excellent reporting skills & staff management skills
  • Meeting sales targets, effective planning and forecasting
  • Maintaining and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing processes, managing day to day performance of all sales team members

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Sales / marketing / management related tertiary qualification will be beneficial

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Corporate gift / clothing industry experience could be beneficial
  • Target driven, analytical and pro-active individual, presentable
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic, firm, hardworking, persistent and dependable individual
  • Innovative
  • Ability to cooperate with staff at all levels
  • Excellent planning and organising skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Office based – will involve meeting with clients as needed, business lunches, etc.
  • Need to be able to manage and inspire our sales team
