Marketing Executive (Fintech Industry) – Bulgaria

Introduction

The Headhunter Karriera LLC, on behalf of its client, a fast-growing international fintech company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to join their team in Bulgaria.

This role is key in strengthening the company's brand presence, positioning it as a customer-centric organization with a strong human touch, and driving measurable business growth through strategic marketing initiatives.

Role Purpose

The Marketing Executive will play a critical role in planning, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing strategies to achieve ambitious sales and growth targets, while enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Contribution

  • Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets in collaboration with the commercial team
  • Co-own revenue growth together with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth of high-performing clients

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Work closely with the Group Marketing Officer to translate strategic vision into actionable marketing campaigns
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for the Bulgarian market aligned with HQ guidelines
  • Lead and manage both ATL (Above-the-Line) and BTL (Below-the-Line) campaigns, including performance tracking and reporting
  • Plan and execute digital and offline marketing activities across product lines and sales channels

Branding & PR

  • Strengthen brand positioning with a focus on a human touch customer experience
  • Manage PR activities and media relations, especially on socially relevant topics and industry trends

Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis (pricing, products, campaigns)
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, and new opportunities within the Bulgarian market

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with the CCO, Group Marketing, and local marketing teams across operating countries
  • Manage relationships with marketing agencies, external partners, and vendors
  • Align marketing initiatives with internal stakeholders and business priorities

Planning, Reporting & Operations

  • Ensure proper documentation and communication of marketing plans (roadmaps, budgets, calendars, reports)
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular insights and recommendations
  • Support prioritization of marketing projects based on business needs
  • Meet deadlines and adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment
