Senior Digital Accountant

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will take responsibility for a portfolio of 35+ small and medium operational companies and manage their accounting, payroll and tax compliance with a high level of independence.

You will be responsible for:

• Manage the full monthly and annual accounting, tax and payroll cycle
• Prepare corporate tax calculations and year-end closing
• Make routine compliance decisions independently
• Escalate unusual or high-risk tax matters when necessary

The role requires strong technical competence, sound professional judgement and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with structure and discipline.


What You Bring

Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Bulgarian tax legislation (VAT, corporate tax, payroll)
• Strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting standards or IFRS
• Proven experience managing a full accounting cycle independently
• Experience handling multiple clients simultaneously
• Fluent English

Digital & System Competence

• Ability to quickly learn and navigate new digital tools and software
• Structured deadline management
• Comfortable working in process-driven digital environments
