We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and oversee the financial strategy and operations of our clients internationally expanding company. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, accounting, and business planning, preferably with experience in the food production or export sector.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Strategy
- Analyze financial data and forecast short- and long-term cash flows
- Develop and monitor annual budgets aligned with corporate objectives
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on business strategy
- Provide financial insights and proposals to improve profitability and reduce operational costs
2. Cash Flow & Liquidity Management
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financing needs
- Supervise high-level cash planning (receivables/payables management oversight)
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Oversee credit lines, factoring, and financial instruments
3. Cost & Profitability Analysis
- Design costing models per product, client, or distribution channel
- Analyze gross and net profit margins per business unit
- Support pricing strategy through financial modeling and break-even analysis
4. Investment Project Support
- Evaluate the financial viability of new projects and investments
- Prepare financial sections of applications for grants or development incentives
- Perform ROI, payback period, and sensitivity analysis
5. Internal Audit & Process Control
- Develop and implement internal audit procedures for financial and operational controls
- Monitor compliance with internal financial policies and risk management frameworks
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions
- Report directly to the CEO and/or Board on key financial and compliance risks
