We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with solid experience testing web and mobile applications to join our clients growing engineering team. Reporting directly to the Head Engineer, youll play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our platform by identifying issues early and helping us ship reliable, polished releases.

This position is primarily on-site, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review user stories, product specs, and technical designs to define test strategies

  • Design, write, and execute test cases for both mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms

  • Perform manual functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing

  • Ensure compatibility across multiple devices, operating systems, and browsers

  • Accurately document bugs and track them through resolution using tools like Jira or ClickUp

  • Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and expected behaviors

  • Validate fixes and support deployment processes with confidence

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute QA insights during planning and review sessions

  • Maintain clear and up-to-date QA documentation and reusable test libraries

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manual QA for web and mobile apps

  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test case management

  • Fluent English speaker and writer youll be expected to communicate clearly across teams

  • Experience with tools like TestRail, Jira, and browser/mobile debugging tools

  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and quality-driven environment

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments

  • Knowledge of API testing and backend validation

  • Exposure to automation tools like Selenium or Appium is a plus

  • Basic version control experience (Git preferred)
