Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Remote Virtual Assistant & Medical Billing Specialist (CureSav Expert) with extensive experience using the CureSav software to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for navigating and managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy in medical charges and records, and supporting our administrative processes. While a business or medical degree is not required, a deep understanding of CureSav and the medical billing workflow is essential.The ideal candidate is proficient in English, has strong communication and analytical skills, and is capable of working independently with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable performing both billing-specific tasks and general administrative duties while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and data accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in medical billing, data entry, administrative support, or related roles who thrives in a focused, software-driven work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate and manage the CureSav medical billing platform with confidence and from the inside-out.
- Review and interpret billing details on the platform.
- Check and summarize medical charges.
- Ensure billing records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Document payment statuses and conduct timely follow-ups.
- Report findings clearly and promptly to relevant team members.
- Identify and flag discrepancies or errors in billing data for correction.
- Communicate with internal teams or external contacts to clarify billing issues when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection and privacy regulations related to patient information.
- Perform general administrative and data-related tasks as needed.
- Perform other tasks related to the position.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
- Clear and effective communication skills in English (verbally and written) with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, and providers.
- Proven experience as a medical biller or related roles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Extensive knowledge and experience using CureSav software.
- Understanding of the medical billing process.
- No business or medical degree required, but expertise in CureSav is a must.
- Prior experience in roles such as administrative assistant, data entry, secretary, personal assistance, operations support, or other relevant positions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Sound judgment, strong focus, and the ability to quickly comprehend and execute instructions with minimal supervision.
- Must have a Windows computer (Windows 10 or newer) that is less than 4 years old.
- Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.
