Remote Construction Architectural Drafter & Renderer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Construction Architectural Drafter & Renderer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently produce precise technical drawings and high-quality architectural renderings based on provided measurements and project descriptions. This role requires both technical accuracy and creative design skills, as well as strong collaboration within a construction-focused workflow. Candidates must provide a portfolio of past architectural work for consideration. Proficiency in any CAD or architecture-related software is acceptable, as we value results and flexibility over specific platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate architectural drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, details) from provided measurements.
• Develop photorealistic or conceptual renderings based on project descriptions and design intent.
• Revise and adjust drawings and renderings based on feedback or updated requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with construction standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with the project team to clarify requirements and resolve design questions.
• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure version control for project documentation.
• Deliver completed work on time.
• Support project presentations by providing high-quality visuals and technical documentation.
• Perform general administrative and data-related tasks as needed.
• Perform other tasks related to the position.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
• Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills in English (verbally and written) with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, and providers.
• Proven experience creating architectural drawings and renderings independently.
• Previous experience in construction, architecture, or engineering is an asset.
• Portfolio of past architectural drafting and rendering work required (to be submitted with application).
• Strong proficiency with CAD or other architecture-related software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate drawings and renderings from measurements and written descriptions.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drafting standards, construction documentation, and workflows.
• Familiarity with building codes, construction processes, and architectural terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings and specifications, as well as project descriptions, and translate them into practical, build-ready designs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
• Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision.
• Must have a Windows computer (Windows 10 or newer) that is less than 4 years old.
• Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.
