Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Customer Service & Event Support Assistant to provide administrative, coordination, and client-facing support for upcoming events. This role involves assisting attendees with ticket reservations, managing exhibitor follow-ups, handling lead data and client communications, and supporting the event host with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth event execution. The ideal candidate has strong English communication skills, excellent organizational and follow-up abilities, and a customer-service mindset. This is an immediate, short-term role (approximately 1.5 months through March 1), with the potential to extend or transition into a long-term personal assistant position based on performance. Training will be provided for any required software, making this a great opportunity for a reliable self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist event attendees with ticket reservations.
- Track and manage exhibitor follow-ups for lead scanner rentals.
- Send captured leads to clients and handle data entry.
- Provide personal assistant support to the event host.
- General event support and coordination tasks.
- Support additional tasks related to the role.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- This is an immediate, short-term role (approximately 1.5 months through March 1), with potential for extension or transition into a long-term personal assistant position based on performance.
- Prior experience in administrative, personal assistant, operations support, or related roles. Training will be provided on new software.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills (phone and email).
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities.
- Out-of-the-box thinker, reliable, highly detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver with a customer-service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Sound judgment and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
