Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Remote Architectural Drafter & 3D Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and revising drafting documents, creating accurate 3D models and visualizations, and developing detailed technical drawings for architectural and construction projects. This role requires proficiency in Revit, strong technical knowledge of various construction types, and the ability to produce high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment. They will collaborate closely with project teams, assist with zoning and code compliance requirements, and contribute to the successful execution of projects while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise drafting documents for architectural and construction projects.
- Create accurate 3D models and visualizations using industry-standard software.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and construction documentation in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of design deliverables.
- Review and update drawings and models based on project changes, feedback, and design revisions.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout all phases of the project.
- Assist with zoning and code compliance requirements as needed.
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication skills and professional commitment.
- 3–5 years of experience in drafting and 3D modeling.
- Knowledge of zoning codes and regulations; experience with U.S.-based codes is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of various construction types, including concrete, steel, light-gauge, and wood structures.
- Proficiency in Revit (required and considered the most important software for this role).
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (required).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Lumion.
- Strong work ethic, and a high level of responsibility, reliability, and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
- Out-of-the-box thinker, highly adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and attention to details.
- Positive attitude and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to understand and follow established processes accurately with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours and adapt to business needs.
