About the job Remote Product & Program Research Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Product & Program Research Analyst to support our growing EV (Electric Vehicle) charging business. In this role, you will conduct in-depth research on EV charging, battery storage technologies, government incentives, market trends, and industry developments to help drive strategic business decisions. You will work directly with the company owner, receiving research assignments that require critical thinking, thorough analysis, and the ability to transform complex information into clear, actionable reports. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the energy, EV charging, battery storage, renewable energy, or government incentive sectors is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on battery storage products, technologies, manufacturers, features, and performance.
- Research government incentives, grants, rebates, and programs related to EV (Electric Vehicle) charging and battery storage.
- Prepare clear, organized reports and summaries of research findings.
- Track research projects and assist with monitoring client opportunities.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the energy sector.
- Analyze competitor products, pricing, and market trends to support business decisions.
- Maintain accurate research databases, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely research insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Leverage AI tools to improve research efficiency, productivity, and the quality of deliverables.
- Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and teammates.
- 3+ years of experience in market research, product research, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong online research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and present findings clearly.
- Resourceful, naturally curious, and proactive in solving research-related problems.
- Experience in the energy, EV charging, battery storage, or renewable energy industry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
- Out-of-the-box thinker, highly adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and confident approach.
- Positive attitude and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to understand and follow established processes accurately with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours and adapt to business needs.
