Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled 3D Rendering Specialist with a background in woodwork design and expertise in creating detailed cut sheets for manufacturing. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can translate design concepts into production-ready visuals and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality 3D renderings of custom woodwork projects (cabinetry, furniture, millwork, etc.).
  • Develop accurate cut sheets and shop drawings to guide fabrication teams.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and production staff to ensure feasibility and precision.
  • Revise and update renderings and cut sheets as projects evolve.
  • Maintain organized records of all design files and revisions.
  • Ensure all renderings and technical drawings meet manufacturing requirements and material constraints.
  • Convert client design concepts into production-ready visual and technical assets.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of renderings and cut sheets to prevent fabrication errors.
  • Integrate hardware and fixture details into designs (hinges, slides, handles, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programmers or machine operators to validate compatibility with digital fabrication processes.
  • Create exploded views and assembly instructions for complex builds.
  • Manage version control and backup systems for design documentation.
  • Participate in design review meetings to provide visual clarity and technical insights.
  • Perform other duties related to the position.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) with the ability to communicate with cross-functional and internal leaders.
  • Availability to work Eastern Standard Time (EST), New York time.
  • Proven experience in 3D rendering specifically for woodworking or millwork applications is required.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of wood materials, joinery, and construction methods.
  • Ability to produce precise cut sheets and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a Windows computer (Windows 10 or newer) that is less than 4 years old.
  • Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in cabinetmaking or furniture production.
  • Familiarity with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming or optimization software.
  • Portfolio of completed woodwork renderings and cut sheets.
