Job Summary:

We are seeking a Remote Energy Analyst / HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) Optimization Support specialist to assist in the backend execution of HVAC and energy efficiency projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing HVAC and building data, generating professional optimization reports, submitting upgrade applications, coordinating with internal teams, and communicating with vendors and clients - all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze HVAC system performance, energy usage, and building data to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Generate professional reports and energy summaries for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Remotely support project management tasks across multiple HVAC/energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors to gather estimates, material specifications, and timelines.
  • Submit applications and supporting documentation for government-funded or private HVAC upgrade programs.
  • Support internal teams with data tracking, report preparation, and status updates.
  • Monitor building climate controls and assist in troubleshooting inefficiencies when applicable.
  • Recommend potential system improvements for cost-effective energy savings.
  • Perform other tasks related to the position.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and components (e.g., chillers, boilers, air handlers).
  • Experience as a Remote Energy Analyst / HVAC or related roles.
  • Experience in project management or similar roles is a plus.
  • Understanding of HVAC optimization techniques and energy-saving strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with HVAC/energy data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or HVAC analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, HVAC load calculation tools).
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and other online tools (Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Monday.com, Jira, Notion or any other) highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with or knowledge of building automation systems (BAS/BMS).
  • Basic understanding of HVAC troubleshooting principles.
  • Familiarity with LEED, U.S. energy codes, or government energy incentive programs is a plus.
  • Prior experience working at HVAC service provider companies is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate remotely with diverse teams.
  • Must have a Windows computer (Windows 10 or newer) that is less than 4 years old.
  • Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.
