Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and reliable Remote OB-GYN Medical Doctor to support our clinical team by reviewing patient medical records and ensuring the accuracy and quality of care. The ideal candidate will be a licensed obstetrician-gynecologist who works remotely, focusing on chart reviews, identifying clinical concerns, and providing follow-up communication. This role does not involve direct patient care, but plays a critical part in maintaining high standards of patient documentation and clinical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review patient charts, forms, and lab results for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and flag any errors, inconsistencies, or abnormal findings.
  • Document and summarize clinical issues, forwarding them to the supervising physician for review.
  • Contact patients by phone to clarify medical information or respond to basic inquiries.
  • Ensure all communications and updates are professional, timely, and well-documented.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to clinical and data privacy standards.
  • Use electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote tools effectively.
  • Monitor abnormal findings and ensure they are addressed by the primary physician.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure accurate medical documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining high standards for chart reviews and documentation.
  • Stay informed about OB-GYN best practices and relevant medical updates.
  • Provide feedback to improve chart review processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced English Level.
  • Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Available to work full-time in a remote setting.
  • Licensed OB-GYN with clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology (valid license in any country).
  • Comfortable and professional in-patient communication, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify clinical red flags.
  • Proficient with technology, EHR/EMR platforms, and adaptable to remote systems.
  • Demonstrated clinical judgment, discretion, and professionalism in decision-making.
  • Familiarity with basic medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret patient charts and identify key clinical details.
  • Experience with telemedicine, remote work, and communication tools such as video conferencing.
  • Professional, empathetic, and patient-focused in all interactions.
