Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Level 3 IT Technician to join our technical support and infrastructure team. This senior role requires deep expertise in networking, Microsoft Azure Stack, Intune, Active Directory, and server infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting complex technical issues, implementing IT solutions, and maintaining secure, scalable enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 IT support tickets related to software, hardware, and network issues.
- Act as a top-tier escalation point for complex technical issues across systems, network, and cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms, and enterprise storage solutions.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure Stack, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security.
- Oversee Active Directory, including GPO management, OU structure, federation services, and user/group provisioning.
- Design, implement, and manage secure LAN/WAN networking infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using enterprise-grade tools.
- Participate in planning and execution of IT projects, system upgrades, and migrations.
- Maintain documentation and provide mentorship to junior technicians and support staff.
- Ensure IT best practices and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
- Provide on-call support as needed and participate in scheduled maintenance windows.
- Perform other tasks related to the position.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced English Level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
- Proven experience in a Level 3 Technician role.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Hands-on experience in a Level 3 or senior IT support/engineering role.
- Strong experience with:
- Networking (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, etc.)
- Microsoft Azure Stack and cloud services
- Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
- Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs
- Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.)
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and lead infrastructure initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect
- CompTIA Network+/Security+
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP
- VMware VCP
- Experience with MDM, MAM, and conditional access policies.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM), SSO, and MFA.
- Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.
