Remote Shopify Data Miner (Lead Research & Verification)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a resourceful and detail-oriented Shopify Data Miner (Lead Research & Verification) to support our lead generation and research efforts (E-commerce / Lead Generation industry). In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and organizing data, with a focus on identifying verified Shopify store owners and gathering accurate contact information. You will be expected to deliver clean, well-structured data that meets our quality standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, ethical, and highly efficient in using online tools and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify active Shopify stores using various tech-detection tools.
• Confirm that each store is currently running on Shopify.
• Collect and organize verified contact details, including: Store name and URL, Contact person (if available), Email address and phone number, Social Media profiles (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
• Avoid duplicate entries and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Deliver final output in Google Sheets or Excel, in a clean and standardized format.
• Provide regular updates or completed reports based on project timelines.
• Ensure data integrity, ethical sourcing practices, and confidentiality at all times.
• Be responsive to feedback and open to adjusting workflows as needed.
• Perform other tasks related to the position.

Required Tools & Skills:

• Shopify Store Identification Tools: BuiltWith, SimilarTech, Wappalyzer, Browser extensions for detecting tech stack.
• Lead Generation Tools: Hunter.io, Apollo, Clearbit, Snov.io, Skrapp.
• Social Media Sourcing: LinkedIn (Sales Navigator is a plus), Instagram, Facebook, Google Search / Store website review.
• Email Verification Tools: NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, or similar preferred, but not required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, with a strong sense of teamwork.
• Prior experience as a Shopify Data Miner, Lead Researcher, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel: must be able to manage and organize large datasets effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have a Windows computer (Windows 10 or newer) that is less than 4 years old.
• Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.
