Job Title: Inbound/Outbound Customer Service & Collections Agent
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inbound/Outbound Customer Service & Collections Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and resolving outstanding balances in a courteous and professional manner. This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and a customer service mindset while meeting collection goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or text to collect outstanding payments.
- Review customer accounts and determine appropriate collection strategies.
- Negotiate payment plans or settlements in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and payment arrangements.
- Handle objections and disputes professionally, aiming for a resolution.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws governing debt collection practices (e.g., FDCPA, if applicable).
- Meet or exceed monthly collection targets and KPIs.
- Work collaboratively with team members and management to improve collection processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Advanced English Level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in Customer Service and/or Collections in a call center environment.
- Experience in Property Management or Real Estate roles is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer knowledge and experience using CRM or collection software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
- Persistent, organized, focused and motivated to complete daily tasks.
- Must have a Windows computer (Windows 10 or newer) that is less than 4 years old.
- Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.
