Job Title: Collections Agent

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Collections Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and resolving outstanding balances in a courteous and professional manner. This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and a customer service mindset while meeting collection goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers via phone, email, or text to collect outstanding payments.
• Review customer accounts and determine appropriate collection strategies.
• Negotiate payment plans or settlements in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and payment arrangements.
• Handle objections and disputes professionally, aiming for a resolution.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws governing debt collection practices (e.g., FDCPA, if applicable).
• Meet or exceed monthly collection targets and KPIs.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to improve collection processes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Advanced English Level.
• Availability to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (United States)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in collections in a call center environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using CRM or collection software is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
• Must have a Windows computer (Windows 10 or newer) that is less than 4 years old.
• Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.
