Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor who specializes in commercial short-form content for platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for visuals, a strong sense of timing and rhythm, and knows how to bring scripts to life with dynamic edits, branding elements, and engaging transitions. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and creative direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit engaging short-form videos for social media and digital platforms.
• Add text, subtitles, music, sound effects, logos, and branding elements.
• Apply color grading and text effects to enhance visual storytelling.
• Use creative transitions and pacing that align with each projects goals.
• Work closely with scripts and briefs to shape compelling narratives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with the creative team to test concepts and review portfolios.
• Adapt edits to suit different platforms and audience expectations.
• Perform other tasks related to the position.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
• Strong written English skills for clear and accurate typing
• Proven experience editing short-form commercial or social media content.
• Strong understanding of music selection, timing, and emotional impact.
• Knowledge of color grading and text-based visual effects.
• Ability to make quick, creative decisions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent sense of visual rhythm, pacing, and aesthetic appeal.
• Comfortable working with deadlines and iterative feedback.
• Portfolio that demonstrates relevant skills and creativity.
• Software & Technical Expertise:
• Proficient with CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Familiarity with trends and formats on TikTok and YouTube Shorts
• Experience editing with a focus on mobile-first, vertical video content
• Bonus: Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics tools
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
• Must have a Windows computer (Windows 10 or newer) that is less than 4 years old.
• Two monitors and a high-speed fiber network or Starlink internet.
