Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and proactive Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our social presence, primarily on Instagram and Facebook. This is not a simple posting role; we are looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what makes content succeed, and takes full creative responsibility for the look, vibe, and engagement across our platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience creating engaging content, interacting with followers, running targeted campaigns for the American market, and leveraging tools such as Wigs Dashboard and Meta to optimize performance. This role will also involve light administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality social media content, including videos, posts, images, stories, and blocks, aligned with brand voice and goals.
- Manage and run day-to-day activities on Instagram and Facebook (or others such as TikTok, etc.) to increase engagement and drive sales.
- Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms.
- Follow up with leads generated through social media to support conversions and sales growth.
- Develop strategies to target and engage American clients effectively.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools such as Wigs Dashboard and Meta Business Suite, providing regular reports and insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Take the initiative in suggesting new content formats, series, captions, and viral ideas.
- Support with additional administrative tasks as needed to assist the wider team.
- Perform other tasks related to the position.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, providers, and potential clients.
- Proven experience managing business social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook required).
- Strong content creation skills (visuals, videos, captions, and storytelling) with a sharp eye for creativity and aesthetics.
- Video editing skills, including sound and music selection.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and analytics tools; knowledge of Wigs Dashboard (internal social media tool) is a plus.
- Ability to design and execute campaigns targeting American audiences.
- Creative mindset with the ability to make content feel fresh, human, and scroll-stopping.
- Experience managing pages for creative brands, events, or businesses.
- Out-of-the-box thinker, detail-oriented, reliable, and professional.
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving, quick learning, and adaptability.
- Previous experience in sales support, digital marketing, or administrative work is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Microsoft Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision.
- Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
