Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Operations & Data Support Analyst to support backend processes related to billing, commissions, and deal coordination. This role is responsible for downloading and organizing client energy bills, accurately entering and validating data, ensuring invoices are properly submitted, and preparing commission reports. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently. The position requires proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, comfort working with basic formulas, and the ability to manage spreadsheets independently. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential. This role is best suited for a proactive, dependable professional who is confident working with numbers and committed to maintaining accuracy, organization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Download and organize client energy bills for processing.
  • Accurately enter data into spreadsheets and internal systems.
  • Review systems to confirm invoices are submitted correctly and follow up on discrepancies as needed.
  • Prepare and compile commission reports for the Bookkeeper.
  • Support backend operational tasks to ensure smooth deal closure and team efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of client documentation and transaction history.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure billing and commission accuracy.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to resolve discrepancies and prevent processing delays.
  • Perform other tasks related to the position.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal and phone communication skills with excellent customer service approach.
  • Strong numerical aptitude with a high level of accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and analytical thinking ability.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts and systems efficiently.
  • Highly organized, responsible, and dependable.
  • Comfortable using basic spreadsheet formulas (advanced formulas not required).
  • Ability to create, update, and manage spreadsheets independently.
  • Strong confidence and competence when working with numbers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets).
